Hi, I'm Eero, a Unity developer from Finland. I am interested in VR and audiovisual experiences, like virtual concerts. My IRL hobby is dancing.
My Unity work:
I am currently contributing to the open-source VR Unity game, Open Brush. My most recent contribution is a mesh splitter editor tool for Open Brush's Unity SDK: Pull Request. I have also fixed multiple small bugs in the project (large C# legacy codebase), written documentation, and done manual testing. In this PR I fixed a bug with 3d model import: PR.
I have made a few hobby games in Unity and created most of the assets for them in Blender. You can see them below.
- Fish Simulator: I was responsible for the game's logic in C#. All assets are out-sourced.
- k-boy: I was responsible for the 3d models, animations, and scripts. (only the boombox model is out-sourced)
- dancing with the f-binds (music vid): I was responsible for the 3d models, animations, and shaders.
Other gaming work:
In 2024, I created and maintained an AI art-gaming Discord bot for Civitai's discord server with 60k members. Civitai was ranked as the 10th most visited Gen AI website in August 2024. I designed fun chat-based games based on AI art for it, e.g., the most popular game was one where you had to guess if an image is AI generated or not. I've also released an open-source version, here.
